The Sparks and Sons Steamboat Cup will be conducted by GTYC on the 9th May. The Steamboat Cup is for single and double handed boats only, and is a race for those sailors seeking a challenge!

Following on from last year’s fun tour of the Moorabool Valley vineyards, this year’s wine tour takes in the Bellarine vineyards. The day’s activities are as follows:
- 10 am meet at St Helens boat ramp
- 10:45 am Wyana Park Vineyard, Soho Road Drysdale. includes an Australian native garden to explore.
- 11:45 am Mermerus Vineyard, Soho Road Drysdale (across road from Wyana Park)
- 1:00 pm BYO everthing BBQ lunch at St Leonards beach
- 2:30 pm Leura Park Estate, 1400 Portarlington Road Curlewis
Includes music, cheese coffees/teas. Guided wine tasting $3/head

The 2009 Trailable Yacht Festival was conducted over the weekend of 27th-29th March. The event enjoyed balmy autumn weather and the 30 registrants and their partners/crews in 25 boats had a great time making new friendships or re-newing old ones. A big thank-you to all who assisted and to all who attended.
